Question: What got you started within this field?

Answer: I was training USA track and field and one of my athletes got injured and asked me if I new how to do a message. He loved what I did and told me that I should go to school and get certified and licensed for it. God made an opportunity for me to go to school while working for the Los Angeles police department, and from there it’s pretty much history!

Question: How much and what training and experience do you have? (Background)

Answer: I have over 11 years of experience and training.

Question: As a small independent business what challenges do you face?

Answer:  The challenges I face in my business is because I am a small home based business, it’s only me and the
consistency of having the clients come in, advertising; because I don’t advertise, most of my business is word of mouth. So just making sure I do quality work so that it continues to spread word of mouth and also present a professional atmosphere since I am a home based business.

Question: What would you like people to know about your kind of work?

Answer: That massage therapy is important in your everyday, not only when your and athlete training for an event; but for people in general. Massage therapy promotes blood circulation, brings clarity because it relaxes your body, relieves stress and also helps keep you from developing certain mental illnesses; due to the fact that we’re creating a peaceful harmonious balance between the body and the spirit.

Question: Where/What do you see in your future?

Answer: What I see in my future is having a health and wellness spa in the community, (within the L.A area) it would offer massage therapy not only for the Swedish massage but also for training purposes as well as teaching people the importance of different kinds medicines.

Question: How are you certified?

Answer: I am certified through U.S Careers and Kaplan University where I got a Bachelor’s in health and science.

Question: What’s your specialty?

Answer: My specialty is deep tissue, sports massage, along with physical rehab.

Question: Last words to readers?

I would tell people if you have a dream or a passion to do something, then pray on it, and allow God to help you make that dream come true.

In addition to her physical work Lara also does community work as Los Angeles gangs tag the streets and private property, she works to minimize such things and vandalism by grabbing a paint brush and completing the job herself. 1440 is a natural energy substance.

The Fashion Forbes sat with Dr. Ralph Peterson a Bay area physician and owner of his own private practice for over 30 years since 1983 specializing in both internal medicine
and gastrointestinal diseases. He treats people with a variety of ailments, but about five years ago he decided to narrow his focus to just gastrointestinal medicine; which has remained his main focus, until now!

Question: Well you didn’t create a “Viagra” you created 1440! Now what is that?

Answer: “In low doses I grabbed a bunch of herbs that target the erectile dysfunction area, (put them in a formula), I called up some buddies to test out my formula after a year of doing this (Product Development). I got some people together, to take it. The next day called me and said; “Hey man, the stuff didn’t work.” A few of them that continued to take it over the next few weeks said they felt some things, but not to the impact that they would with Viagra and other erectile drugs. However I did get a bunch of energy!” I thought energy? I looked at my formulation that I put together and all of those herbs that  I put in there creates energy in one since or another. He continues; the name 1440 came about a totally different way. I was stretching with my chiropractor, I’m a runner of the 200, 400 meter sprint runner and I’ve set titles in running with my league in  Sacramento! Needless to say, I was stretching and my chiropractor asked why didn’t I stretch at home? My reply was something like, “Oh yeah I’ll try to do it!” he said ” Use 1440!” when I asked what that was he told the numbers of minuets you have in a day.

“I went home and I though about it! Now how true is that? That’s all we have everyday we wake up! Were given a brand new 1440 to do what we need to do. Don’t waist your time. I thought this to be the perfect name for my product! Get the energy, the clarity, focus and the endurance! Don’t waist your time, get busy doing what it is you need to do. One thousand, four hundred- forty hours is enough to do what you need to do. So hence that’s why the product is called 1440 which has been trademarked by us. We hope to come out with a line of product under this brand. I have so many different ideas in my head. We want to target Alzheimer’s and dementia and try to help these organic brain issues people are having.”

Question: Do you think that herbs could possibly slow down the process?

Answer: If you look at the ingredients, not only slow down the process, but perhaps reverse it! Yohimbe  for example has been known to have people with”Post dramatic Stress Disorder” recall things that they’re no longer able to remember.

A Harvard Doctor conducted a study on that, he gave a few people Yohimbe  and they were able to recall events they  hadn’t be able to before. When you look at Horny Goats Weed (Epimedium) it’s been known to help reverse the Beta Amyloid Protein which is a major cause of Alzhimers! Answer: We’ll keep everything under the 1440 brand and use with our specialty products! (e.g 1440 Alzheimer’s, 1440 Autism etc.)

Question: How does it work?

Answer: It has every B… If you mention a B vitamin it’s in there! We used all the B complex and lots of B-12. 1440 has two platforms; Vibrational and a Bioenergetics platform. Lets talk about each!
