We know it will be a long time until Brooklyn can measure up to Manhattan, but Brooklyn’s future is looking bright. The New York Fashion Week Bryant Park tent is the most coveted place to hold your show. This year a number of designers are seeking to have their shows in other locations. Surprisingly Brooklyn is high on the trend meter! This year a number of top designers have decided Brooklyn is the place to hold their fashion week fashion shows including Alexander Wang. No word on an official location, but it’s very exclusive and invite only. Due to the new location, the February 8 show originally scheduled for 5 p.m. has been moved to the 8:30 p.m. slot. Will he hold a super epic after party in Brooklyn also? [WWD]
