This Wednesday what was once known as a prehistoric boring old science museum is now reopening and getting ready to take us all by storm. The WaterFront Exploratorium openings its doors to its new location this Wednesday 4/18/13. We can expect to see a completely new museum! Expect to be wowed by the “600 motion filled exhibits, a glass-enclosed Bayside observatory, and 1.5 acres of free public access along the pier’s plaza and outdoor walk way” The San Francisco Times. The look of the museum is not only better, the space the new location has is also a hot little piece of real estate! Apart from the beautiful Bay views; the new location has 330,000 square feet, it’s equip with two environmentally friendly eateries, quadruple the space for meetings/workshops camps, and over three times the capacity of the last museum for teaching, not to mention the one-hundred and fifty new exhibits, six main galleries, and forty new artworks commissioned at the opening, need I say more? This is defiantly an event to attend! Fun for all! You can even take the kids along because kids eat and play free until June 30th.
